About SECRID

In 2009, the leather industry almost completely migrated from the Netherlands to low-wage countries. SECRID brought this industry back. Due to the development of a groundbreaking new product and manufacturing process, wallets are now being mass produced in the Netherlands again. More efficient and environmentally friendly than ever before, in a number never seen before in this small country.

Close cooperation with 50 suppliers - from the sewing studio in Vlaardingen to the social enterprise in Leiden - is therefore essential for them. SECRID values fair working conditions and green manufacturing and has already created more than 200 jobs in the Netherlands.

Every day, more than 100 people compose SECRID's products with enthusiasm and great precision in social enterprises in Leiden, Delft and Haarlem. Together with them, they steadily develop the instruments and processes to ensure the high product quality and good working conditions. Once the various elements have been put together, each wallet will receive its unique serial number as proof of authenticity.
