SECRID's vintage leather has a carefully sanded surface and a wax finish with a stone-washed look. The wax makes this living leather more sensitive to scratching, so it becomes more and more personal with use.

Vintage is a polished leather and is made in Holland from European bovine skins.

In 2009, the leather industry almost completely migrated from the Netherlands to low-wage countries. SECRID brought this industry back. Due to the development of a groundbreaking new product and manufacturing process, wallets are now being mass produced in the Netherlands again. Every day, more than 100 people compose SECRID's products with enthusiasm and great precision in social enterprises in Leiden, Delft and Haarlem. Together with them, they steadily develop the instruments and processes to ensure the high product quality and good working conditions.
